Greengairs Parish Church Refurbishment

In January 1977 the Parish of Greengairs was linked with New Monkland from which it had originally been disjoined and on July 13 of that year the Rev. Alan Andrew Ford BD was inducted as minister of the linked charge. The Basis of linking of the two churches stated that both churches should have their principal service at 12.00 noon and that an assistant should be provided whose main place of residence would be the Manse of Greengairs. The applicants would like to repair the internal ceilings and attendant wooden panelling damaged by moisture ingress and to install an electronically activated bell as “call to worship”
