Greening Stockwell and Studley Estates

We will regenerate, beautify and add colour to neighbouring estates in the deprived area of Stockwell in Lambeth, South London. We will carry out tree planting and landscaping activities, involving the local community in consultation and community – engagement activities, provide opportunities for young people to learn about urban trees and hold practical gardening workshops in which local residents can improve their local communities and homes by learning how to grow plants and taking home window boxes or hanging baskets. Extensive consultation activities with local groups have already been carried out and a full planting plan is being finalised. Implementation of the plan will then be carried out by local people.
