Greenspace improvements, Riverview Drive, Dyce

The project is to improve the well used greenspace area that stretches from Riverview Drive to the River Don. The plan, following local consultation, is to plant a native hedge along 675 metres of roadside and to upgrade around 650 metres of the path network,
The hedge will consist of native species such as hawthorn, blackthorn, hazel, dog rose crab apple, elder and holly which will increase the biodiversity interest as well as reducing the visual impact, and the noise and air pollution from the busy road bordering the site.
The paths have become grassed over with drainage issues in places. Upgrading the paths will improve access to the area.
