Grimsby Community Hub

The project aims to renovate the ground floor for a public room and install a lift for accessible community and hire spaces.
The building is currently derelict and unfit for purpose, so funding will be used to refurbish the ground floor, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Essential upgrades include the installation of new toilets and a kitchen, enhancing the space’s functionality as a public venue. The ground floor will be ideal for community activities, from informal gatherings to organised events.
The installation of a lift will provide access to the first and second floors, and ensure that the building is accessible to everyone, regardless of mobility. These floors will include a training room, drop-in rooms for counselling and support, and a versatile chill-out space.
