Grimsby - Duke of York Gardens

The Council have worked with the Friends of Freshney Group and other partners to develop a holistic 5- year management plan for the gardens. • New children's facilities, including play equipment and surfacing • Sports facilities, comprising of a skatepark , courts and fishing pegs • Pavilion refurbishment • Landscaping of gardens, including paths, path works, lighting, benches bins and CCTV • Green corridor link from the Duke of York Gardens/River Freshney to Grimsby Town Centre. The focus of this project will be towards the children's play facilities and associated improvements.
