Grosvenor Road Studios, Birmingham – Community Garden (006324)

The project aims to develop the rear garden as a safe green space for the local community for families where children aged 8 – 12 years can play; learn about fruit growing/trees; adults can relax and mini performances/films can be scheduled on the outdoor stage.

A recent inspection has identified a number of trees on the site that will need treating and cutting back further over the next 6 – 12 months. There is also a sloped ditch along the rear of the garden that needs to be addressed in terms of health and safety of users and this project is to carry out this and the necessary tree works.

Carrying out these works, will improve/preserve and make the garden/site a much safer green space for the local community in and around Birchfield.
