Ground-breaking Grazing at Carr Vale

To enhance the floodplain grazing marsh habitat at Carr Vale by conservation grazing. Livestock will be deployed to enhance the habitat and improve biodiversity. Cattle will create tussocks and break down the hardened pool edges to benefit waders and ground nesting birds. Sheep will control invasive scrub thus encouraging wildflower species.
