Grounds Development at Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre

Physical improvements to SCEEC grounds which will improve the nature reserve and enhance wildlife features. All project elements are designed to improve the biodiversity and amenities of the site, thus enhancing the experience of the 5000+ visitors each year. This includes improving access, creation of habitats and enhancing the wildlife garden area. We also want to introduce some remote cameras in bat and bird boxes, purchase equipment such as magnifiers and books for visitor use, and buy equipment to maintain the meadow area, as well as creating storage for this. The creation of an amphitheatre for seating and a labyrinth to enhance the experience of children visiting are also part of the project.
