Grounds Maintenance Equipment for Huddersfield RUFC

New equipment for maintenance and improvement of the grass playing fields.The proposed equipment is a Tractor mounted Flail Mower. This equipment will cut, scarify, collect grass, mulch and roll the grass.With this equipment the quality of the grass pitches will improve to enable greater usage for Rugby Union training and matches. The club is working hard to provide outdoor sport facilities for the local community. The quality of the playing pitches is paramount to sustain and grow participation in the sport.Ages using the pitches are from U7’s to U 19’s (all years) and Adult players. The existing grass cutting equipment is a tractor mounted cutter. It is capable only of cutting the grass and cannot scarify or collect the grass cuttings.
