Growing Together – Erne East

The project will focus on volunteer work involving unemployed, disabled and young people, on community conservation and land management projects, that contribute to the Fermanagh Local Biodiversity Action Plan, as well as habitat and species action plans.

The project will work on and improve a number of habitats and community sites in and around Lisnaskea and the surrounding area to the east of Upper Lough Erne. CVNI will provide advice and support that inspires schools, community groups and the general public to value their local environment and take practical action to improve it. This includes the planting of native trees, management of habitats such as woodlands and creation of wildlife habitats around public open space.
