Growing Together (Fermanagh)

Funding is required towards operating a community focused volunteer Conservation Action Team (CAT). The CAT will work with unemployed, disabled and young people on conservation and land management projects that contribute to local biodiversity and climate change action plans.

The team will, work on multiple sites in Fermanagh. They will provide advice and support inspiring schools, community groups and the general public to value their local environment and take practical action to improve it. This includes seed collection and the planting of native trees and flora, composting, recycling, countryside access work, creation of nature gardens and public open space.
