Gwent Wildlife Trust-Silent Valley Nature Reserve

The trust is in need of match-funding to support the European funded “Phoenix Project” which has supported its work at Silent Valley Nature reserve for the last 5 years. The Wildlife Trust maintain the above site for people and wildlife, further improving access and interpretation. Local nurseries and special schools use the “forest school” areas within the reserve as an outdoor classroom. Trust staff run regular work tasks, many schools using the reserve for environmental education.
