Gym Refurbishment

As Southbourne’s official Community Centre for the past 30 years, we always aim to provide the best service for our local community. We deliver a range of clubs, activities and events that are inclusive for all.
The Gym is currently used by all ages and abilities- Bournemouth Aikido Club, Bournemouth Netball Club, Leap School of Dance, MBMAA Martial Arts, U3A Badminton, birthday parties. However, the Gym is in serious need of refurbishment, and frequent attendees of the centre and members of the public who do not use our space have turned down hiring the Gym upon viewing or experiencing it in its current condition.
We want to refurbish the Gym to be far more accessible, attractive, and user friendly. We aim to make this space into a Community Sports Hall. We would like to improve by redecorating and repairing parts of the building, and add new facilities, such as toilets and a changing area, to further benefit and support those already using and future potential attendees of the centre.
