Gymnasium furnishing – Aircon

Carlisle Villa Amateur Boxing Club (CVABC) is located in the middle of a housing estate in South Carlisle.

The building offers a large boxing hall, a new gym area fitted with a range of wall and ceiling mounted pads and changing facilities.

CVABC currently runs more than 20 sessions each week on a pay to train basis, and sessions include high intensity training, boxing for toddlers, beginners, intermediates, women and seniors. The club has a mental health initiative and delivers sessions for individuals suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression, and also offers school holiday activities and food sessions for children aged 5-16.

The club has recently added an extension to the building creating a new gym to accommodate more users and has raised £10,000 to purchase a new boxing ring, punch bags, plyometric boxes and wall pads.

Biffa Award has been approached to fund the purchase and installation of four air conditioning units to help deal with condensation levels in the boxing hall and new gym extension.
