HabiBat

“HabiBat” is a partnership project bringing together local charities, provate landowners and the public to deliver “on the ground” biodiversity enhancements with added public benefit.
The project focuses on improving the habitat for the greater and lesser horseshoe bats that forage within the project area, a 10 mile radius around Woodchester Park, the central point for our project. This site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSi) due to the maternity roosts of greater and lesser horseshoe bats, both of which are Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) “Priority Species”.
