Habitat 2006 – Docking

The project will include the following: public access pathways, modification of environmental control measures and site infrastructure to acommodate public access and wildlife habitat creation. The works will take place on a closed landfill site and will open the site for full public access. The project will be managed to encourage existing and new flora, fauna and wildlife species. The proposed site offers unique views within the locality because of the raised level and additionally due to the sites former use will be available for open public access in excess of 30 years. The site is adjacent to an established public recycling centre and should generate good public interest
