a). To enhance an 18.5 hectare area of grassland for its avian, botanical and invertebrate interest by erection of a stock-proof fence to allow grazing by cattle. b). To carry out scrub management of Betula to prevent successional to closed canopy woodland. C). To diversify the scrub element by plant berry-bearing shrubs which are important for some winter migratory bird species. d). To enhance an area of sand to create a sand martin nesting bank.
