Habitat management at RSPB North Warren nature reserve, Suffolk

RSPB management at North Warren nature reserve is vital for the survival and increase of the birds, mammals and flora that live there. Bittern, water vole, water shrew and otter are four species found on the reserve and identified under the Local Biodiversity Action Plan. The provision of appropriate habitat ie wet reedbed is crucial to the survival of these species on the Suffolk coast. This project is about how and why we manage this key habitat.
