Hafod Colliery Community Woodland

The project will re-surface and re-grade a footpath which links the community of Johnstown with HAfod Community Woodland making it more accessible by people with mobility difficulties. The project at the summit of the site as the area was a former colliery. The local community will be actively involved in the design of the sculpture which will be made using traditional skills and materials. Approximately 150 trees will also be planted at the site by the local community.
