Hailes Quarry Park Youth Shelter

Installation of a Youth Shelter in the park, to provide a focus for local teenagers. At present, there is nowhere for teenagers to gather and they congregate at the play area which can be intimidating for younger children. A shelter will provide a place of their own in a suitable location, encouraging them to spend time outdoors. It is also proposed that the youngsters should be involved in selecting equipment, to foster a sense of ownership. Funding will enable the purchase of the equipment, undertaking of any necessary groundworks and installation, to be overseen by the Trust.
