Hall for All in Huntingfield

A new village hall to provide facilities for the three villages of Huntingfield, Heveningham & Ubbeston. This will replace a 1918 ex army hut and will support the health, well-being, education and social lives of the residents in this rural isolated area.Funding from Viridor will be used for the flooring and external doors and for part payment towards the cost of internal doors and screens of the building. Due to the buoyancy of the construction industry the costs have risen of the actual build cost – in September 2014 the QS estimated a total cost of the project of £533,000 – the tender bids have come in with the lowest being £60,000 more than that amount.
