Hall Windows Replacement and Associated Work

The metal cathedral glass windows in the hall are presently set directly into the stonework. The leading and glass have been severely damaged over the years and despite repairs have buckled and broken. They are now dangerous, temporarily patched and need replaced with double glazed clear toughened glass, not set directly into the stone surround. To ensure the continuing safety of the new windows, adjacent stonework will have to be repointed and this work will be extended to the whole wall and coping stones to ensure no ingress of water through stones or down the core. Some internal making good and redecoration will be necessary.
