Hallgarth Youth Project

Hallgarth youth project is to invest in the outdoor space and exercise opportunities for children aged 10-14. We aim to provide two pieces of play equipment Hallgarth Park which is owned by SLDC, alongside existing play area equipment for younger children. The aim is to provide quality outdoor play for young people in a safe environment, near their home. This is an area of Kendal which provides less opportunity than other areas for older children to play and exercise. We are looking to install at replacement zip wire including safety surface and a climbing frame and safety surface which will compliment existing equipment on this site. The intended users will be older children aged 12 upwards who currently use surfer swings, multi use games area (MUGA) and football pitch.
