Renew, refurbish, and replace existing play equipment; install new play equipment; level playing field and installation of wildflower meadow.

The project ensures this vital community amenity for leisure and recreation is not lost for current and future users, will be open to as many different people as is possible through open access to our entire community, and will encourage social cohesion and discourage anti-social behaviors by giving a recreational community space for play and events.

The project promotes the use of sustainable and recycled materials, refreshing and refurbishing existing equipment rather than replacing wherever possible. By providing high-quality play equipment and a much improved community space the project will also reduce the need for residents to travel to other locations, reducing transport emissions.
