Hardwick Green Meadows

We have a fantastic opportunity to purchase/protect an internationally important collection of wildflower meadows in an historic landscape and priority biodiversity area. Hardwick Green Meadows is the largest remaining expanse of unprotected MG4 floodplain meadow in the county. MG4 classified meadows are rare – only 1400 hectares remain in the UK and Worcestershire contains around 20% of that figure. The Esmee Fairbairn Foundation has purchased the site on our behalf and we have until December 2017 to raise the necessary funds.
