Harebells in the Hollow- an Acid Grasslands project

In 2005-6, the Wildlife Trust carried out a successful project, ‘Good Conservation Depends on Good Science’, at High Wood Ridge. The Wildlife Trust surveyed rare acid grassland sites, which informed its conservation strategy in the area. This subsequent 2-year ‘Harebells in the Hollows’ project will now enable the Trust to implement the previous project’s recommendations on two important Acid Grassland Wildlife Trust nature reserves, High Wood and Meadow and Ramsden Corner, through conservation grazing and practical land management.
