Harehope Quarry Project – Access and Environmental Improvements

Through HLF and SITA funding access is being provided to the east and west ends of the quarry. This new project will extend the access at the western end to provide a circular walk. An old quarry bridge will be removed and replaced by a wooden footbridge. In addition 65m of new footpath will br created, access improvements will enable the footpath to rejoin the right of way and an interpretation panel will be produced to interpret the sites ceology, geomorhology and industrial heritage
