Harlow Print Wildlife Garden

To create a wildlife garden in the grounds of a print factory in South Tyneside to encourage biodiversity and wildlife. To plant native hedgerows and trees to attract birds identified in the local BAP as well as providing bird boxes and tables. Informal footpaths will be mowed through grass areas that will be planted with meadow seed. Plants will also be provided to attract bees and butterflies. The garden will be for use by schools and community groups and are aiming to provide information tags on plants and shrubs as an educational resource. To create a small pond within an access platform for viewing. This will be to attract frogs, toads and newts. There will be areas for seating and watching wildlife.
