To create a 'Harry Baker and 120 years of Chlorine' exhibition at the Catalyst Science Discovery Centre Museum, to celebrate the globally important achievements of local scientific history maker, Harry Baker, and to inspire local people to believe they can pursue successful STEM careers. So that school pupils will be inspired to engage with STEM subjects through the interpretation of the Harry Baker story and how it links with present day science, the continued production and use of chlorine 120 years on. The life of a fascinating local man will be interpreted for the first time, using items and information that is currently not accessible or used Families and children will benefit from a range of interpretive resources about Harry Baker and his family including panels, interactives, activities, talks and including use of extensive archives and photos An under-utilised area of Catalyst will be brought to life, providing a new area of interest to visitors of all ages
