Hartham Common 4 Rivers Project

The 4 Rivers project has been identified in the Hartham Common Management Plan and through the River Beane Catchment Management Plan. The overall vision of the project is to enhance Hartham Common in a way that attracts wildlife from the wider catchment into the town centre whilst intellectually and physically drawing people out of the town to explore the wider environment.

Hartham Common is perfectly placed to provide a starting point from which people can learn about and explore the wider river corridors. The site is a diverse and well used space, offering excellent visitor facilities and recreational opportunities alongside areas rich in wildlife with ample access out to the wider countryside.
