Harwood Methodist Church, Bolton – Community Kitchen

After years of struggling with cramped inadequate kitchen facilities their new building will contain a spacious modern kitchen enabling them to serve nutritious meals for the community of Harwood to enjoy, creating a much needed gathering space with opportunities for people of all ages to meet together
The installation of a professional kitchen fit-out in their new build Community Centre, to include all necessary equipment including a dishwasher, to meet the future needs of the local community and to provide a mechanism for community involvement.
Large elderly population(isolation/loneliness). High proportion of families/young people lacking access to facilities/opportunities. Consulted: Local People/Current Users(600pw)/Partner Organisations. No project = Inadequate facilities/no space/restricted growth, opportunities and community outreach
