Hawkinge Village Hall, Nr Folkstone – Refurbishment (1882/D)

The hall, which is extremely well used, was built 80 years ago has had no substantial work carried out on it. As such, it has no disabled access and toilet and is not insulated. We are seeking funding to remedy this.

The project will provide an accessible ramp at the main entrance that complies with the latest access regulations, and to install wall and roof insulation to reduce the carbon footpriint. Installation of a disabled toilet is also required. Not only will this work make the venue more accessible and environmentally friendly, it will also make it more attractive.

The Trust grant is a contribution towards the refurbishment.
