Hay Mills Memorial Hall, Birmingham – Improvements (007049)

The applicants are working with the tenants (St Cyprian’s Church) and the owners (Webster and Horsfall) of the building to re-imagine an un-used church hall into a vibrant, well used, accessible-for-all community centre with open public access. To do this they will make physical improvements to the building, increase opening days/times, increase activities and promote the space to the local community. The project will create a space for activities that bring a diverse community together. The local community have already identified a need for a community space. The building will become a space for everyone open on a daily basis.
