Hayling Billy Footpath, Hayling Island – Access Improvements (1944/D)

The project aims to provide better, more inviting access for walkers, cyclists, horse-riders and those with mobility difficulties including wheelchair users. This project will improve the Billy at the northernmost tip of Hayling Island by opening up the path entrance, widening, draining and resurfacing the path, providing locally-made Hampshire oak benches, screening off the electricity sub-station with split oak hurdles and re-siting/renewing signage. The Trust grant will contribute towards the cost of access improvements.
