Hayling Island Cricket Club – New Cricket Nets

This project is to build a 2-bay cricket net facility within a protective fence enclosure (12 feet high) where access is provided by padlocked gates. This approach to the vandal problem has been taken successfully by other clubs. These nets will provide the only all-weather cricket net facility on Hayling Island for Hayling Island CC, the local schools and the general public. The nets would be used by HICC Saturday and Sunday teams and for the coaching of HICC colt teams at the ages of under 11, under 13 and under 15 years old. In addition, the nets would be available to the public on hire and to local schools free of charge.
