Hayocks ECO Project

Enironmental improvements to rights of way which pass through and around Hayocks Primary School playing fields, Stevenston.
To include landscaping, tree and shrub planting alongside the pathways. Provision of seating and play equipment for the use of the local community.
The area (Post Code area) is identified by the Scottish Executive as among the most deprived 15% of ‘data zones’ in Scotland, according to the Scottish Index of Deprivation 2004 (SIMD04). As a result the school has been allocated £10,000 (Regeneration Grant) to develop playing fields and ground around the school for the benefit of the local community.
