Hazleton Village Hall

1. To upgrade the existing Village Hall to meet modern standards of comfort, health and safety, hygiene, equal opportunities and the environment and to provide access, not just for disabled, but also for those with mobility issues in what is an ageing population.

2. Through upgrading the Hall:

a. To increase the usage of the facility as a community centre by Village members for social, family, educational, recreation clubs, craft and physical welfare events.
b. To encourage wider use by local villages without such a facility.
c. To encourage local clubs and societies to hire this Hall not just as a source of revenue but also to widen what is on offer to this and surrounding communities.
d. To provide an emergency information and distribution hub in the event of extreme weather, usually snowfalls cutting off the Village.
