This project will continue to restore and manage the biodiversity action plan (BAP) habitat, lowland heathland (National and Local (BAP) at Buxton Heath Site of special scientific interest (SSSI) in Norfolk, through removal of encroaching scrub and trees and careful management of heather and other heathland plants to create and maintain habitats for a range of species, in particular the nationally scarce silver-studded blue butterfly (BAP species ) and nightjar
