Heathland Restoration at Farnham Heath

Restoration of commercial forestry plantation to return it to haeath and acid grassland. The project will restore 20 ha of heathland and 20 ha of acid grassland. A range of management techniques will be used including: conifer removal, bracken and scrub control, introducing heathland seed to areas with a poor seebank and stock fencing to enable the reintroduction of grazing cattle.
