Heating System, Newton Family and Community Centre, Newton-le-Willows, St Helens

This is a project to replace the central heating system at Newton Family and Community Centre. The heating system was installed in the centre in 1987. It currently only works in 50% of the rooms and is not fit for purpose. This prevents the applicant from hiring out some of the rooms in the evening due to the room temperature. The applicant would like to replace the current heating systems with a fully functional system which enables the use of all the centre’s rooms, thus allowing them to encourage more of the local community to make use of the Centre’s facilities. It wants to provide an all-inclusive centre that its hard to reach local community can take great pride in.
