Helping Habitats for South Devon’s Invertebrates

Implement habitat works on eleven sites (36.5 hectares) - comprising heathland, grassland, mire, scrub, woodland and ponds - to improve conditions for various priority invertebrates. Agreed outcomes are: 1. Thin scrub (30.5ha) on nine sites, restoring wildflower-rich grassland 2. Fell and coppice 1.5ha of woodland edge/ash at Teigngrace Meadow 3. Restore 4ha of wildflower meadow at Woodah Farm 4. Install water control structures on three sites for floristic diversity 5. Involve 35+ volunteers in habitat management and species monitoring surveys
