Henfield Tennis Club – 4th Court

The project is to build a new fourth court with floodlighting adjoining the existing court 3, to create a new 2-court block. The aim is to resolve the problem that arises from the conflict between the various concurrent/competing uses of the courts – social tennis, youth tennis, coaching and matches where the 3 courts cannot cater for the range of needs. In particular, this will enable junior activities to happen at the same time as adult activities. Our objective is to increase participation in tennis in the community and to increase the number of playing members. Tennis is a low cost activity and with the increased facility of a fourth court the club would be able to promote tennis in the expanding village.
