Hennock Community Primary School Sustainably Built Outdoor Classroom and Educational Project

We plan to use an existing, dilapidated building within the playground as footprint for building a sustainable material outdoor classroom designed specifically for exciting environmental teaching and community use. Pupils will contribute to designing, understanding how the materials used are sustainable and achieving sections of the build where safety permits. ‘Expert’ support will ensure the energy supply is renewable. The process will educate pupils for life; the space will be fully equipped to offer teaching pupils for life; the space will be fully equipped to offer teaching at a more sophisticated level for all, enabling the community to take advantage of the facility.
It will be a permanent community legacy to what a small, ambitious school can achieve. Proportional Registration – LCF to fund 49% – £15,925.
