Henry Dickens Court

This projects aims to transform a valuable underused open green space on the Henry Dickens Estate into a well used community kitchen garden, where local residents will be able to grow their own fresh fruit and vegetables on their own doorstep.
The site currently consists of an under used grass area, this project will install raised beds for fruit and vegetable growing.
This will result in the residents being able to:
•grow their own fresh fruit and vegetables at a time of great economic austerity
•learn new skills
•take part in gentle exercise
•develop local community friendships and social networks
