Heritage Feature at Peterculter village entrance

We wish to create a n attractive feature to welcome visitors coming in to Peterculter from Royal Deeside. The feature will consist of a sculptural figure made of overlapping metal plates, which has been designed to symbolise the historical influences which created the village. It will be surrounded by a low wall bearing the village name and a planted area tended by Culter in Bloom. It will be located at the Western entrance to Peterculter in what is at present a neglected grassy area. As well as improving the area the feature will enhance the image of Peterculter and also Aberdeen to residents and tourists alike.
