Hertford Cricket Club practice net replacement project.

Hertford Cricket Club needs to replace its outdoor, non-turf, practice nets which were installed in 1999 and have suffered from weathering and heavy use. We aim to remove the existing practice nets and replace them with a new 4-lane facility which will meets the current standards for practice nets as laid down by the English Cricket Board (ECB). The current nets are no longer fit for purpose and are unsafe for cricket practice – Hertford CC’s aim is to provide a safe practice facility which is conducive to learning. Hertford CC also aims to make the new facility available to members of our local community on an open-access basis. We aim to start construction of the new net facility in September 2015.
