Hertford Heath

This project is to undertake a programme of conservation work to restore 3.6 hectares of rare heathland habitat at Hertford Heath SSSI Nature Reserve. The project works include scrub removal, open area expansion by thinning of trees, scrapes of topsoil, pond works, hydrological survey and production of a new visitor engagement leaflet.
