Hertford Methodist Church Insight Project

Eighteen community organisations use the premises on a regular basis. The facilities are now inadequate for these purposes, particularly for the infirm, disabled and the older members of the community. Our scheme for extending our service to the community involves two elements:
1. The front of the church will be opened up using glass doors and a glass foyer, which will house an office, toilet, coffee bar and mall kitchen to service thecoffee bar. A new vestry and storage area will be constructed and alterations made for disabled access.
2. Some of the rooms surrounding the hall will be modified. A new suite of toilets, including one for the disabled, will be installed. This will allow the main kitchen to be enlarged.
