Hertingfordbury Cowper School/community hall

The building of a new community hall within a small village on a school site for use of both the school and village communities. The local area is short on community space and there is great demand for the proposed facility including from scouts (who are having to vacate their current venue), beavers, cubs, rainbows and brownies, the local drama, art and dance clubs, as meeting space for the Parish Council and local residents associations and other general demands of the community.

This project is approved proportionally on the time available to the general public which equates to 61% of the time. Therefore up to 61% of the total project cost can be approved using LCF monies.
