Hetton and Eppleton Community Hall Refurbishment

A Management Committee was set up in 2006 to run the former church hall as a facility for the whole community to use, as a lack of locally-available, up-to-date, accessible amenities was identified. The whole building firstly needed a complete refurbishment, as some of it was no longer fit for purpose. A programme of fund-raising for targetted areas for the hall has led to improvements throughout, and some activities have now been successfully established. This leaves the section of hall which includes the kitchen, supper room back rooms, stage area and dressing rooms to be done, as priority for progress. It is with this part of the overall project that we are currently seeking help.
